even when we execute

[[email protected] ~]# echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/disable_ipv6
[[email protected] ~]#

(SOLVED - Failed to open stream: Connection timed out) allways we obtain

Failed to connect to IP_SERVER port 2087 after 127274 ms: Connection timed out

and oh yes!, port is open to for connect FROM ANY IP.

Could you check the firewall for blocking 127.0.0.1 or Your Public IP? Sometimes, when a Lot of requests are made internally, Firewall blocks it and it happened with me also...

thanks, IP not bloqued, ALL connection possible: domains, FTP, SHELL, HTTP, etc...

@000 - I'm not sure I understand your initial post. An echo statement wouldn't need to connect to anything, so can you let me know what command is causing the timeout to happen?
