Hi admin,
I get two warning emails that contain:
- Device: /dev/sda [SAT], not capable of SMART self-check
- Device: /dev/sda [SAT], failed to read SMART Attribute Data

Please let me know if there is more data needed. Thanks for your help in advance!

Hey there! cPanel doesn't generate or control the SMART warnings about the disks on the machine, so it would be up to your hosting provider to help with those issues. It's completely possible that everything is fine and the error literally means what it says - the disk controller doesn't have the ability to use the SMART tools for some reason.

I'd reach out to your host and have them check the hardware of the machine and they'll be able to let you know why this message is being sent.
