I hope someone can help. We recently activated xcontroller/fantastico integration with cpanelthemes.

We did not realize that one of the scripts "Noah's Classifieds" required the php gd library. Last time we re-compiled php in our cpanel server, we broke php, and luckily had some backups of our original files.

We are trying to integrate this more cautiously this time. We also have php compiled with Zend Optimzer, so the php ini file is now in the Zend etc dir.

We tried to first install the gd library in the defaults which are: /usr/local/lib & /usr/local/include (for includes), whic still showed in Noah's Classified that gd lib was not installed on the server.

Than we use the Zend etc dir to configure with. All the other dependencies seemed to be found and the install for gd lib went without errors.

Still, the Noah's Classified program says it is not installed, and if you look at the info.php file, it does not show the gd lib file.

Is there anyway to run something to get this to be found with php without having to recompile php?

Any help is greatly appreciated. I have a customer waiting to use this and we promised we would do our best to accomodate him.

    Thank you,
    Cheryl
