Okey... I'm having this issue on 2 servers.
Fantastico is not working and will not install again...

When I run the fantastico installer, I got a blank page, because of fantastico is unable to get the "$REMOTE_USER" variable... also, the variables that are supposed to be passed along in the install not work, I mean, everything in the ?variable=anything ... is not working, so the program dont work, the installer dont work ...

I used to load the main page by putting :
    $REMOTE_USER = $_ENV['REMOTE_USER'];

but anyway... it dont work as all the variables that need to be passed dont work, for example when you try to execute :
    http://..../frontend/xcontroller/fantastico/admin/admin.php?action=setup&hlmenu=setup
    or
    http://..../frontend/xcontroller/fa...tion=restrictreseller&hlmenu=restrictreseller

    etc.
you always get the main page....

What the hell was modified or what was updated that make this dont work?

I've already forced a cpanel upgrade, but still dont works.

Anyone have a fix for this?

Use the netenberg forums instead of using these forums as cpanel doesnt make or distribute fantastico.

Sorry, I'm asking here because this is some cpanel issue, I dont know if was a night update, or something, but making some test scripts using variables, it also dont work as expected.

So, it's something with the cpanel php or something that dont run things as it was doing.

anyone had this issue as well ?

It's not a cPanel issue, it's a fantastico one as it is the third party app that isn't functioning and it is on the netenberg forums that you need to seek help for the problem.

chirpy, this is definitely a cpanel PHP issue. It will not transmit or receive any variables through GET, nor through POST. I am not sure if it affects only PHP in WHM or also in CPanel. This has been confirmed to affect latest CURRENT but not latest STABLE which works fine.

You can test with any php script that tries to submit a form, it is not a strictly Fanastico issue.

    Ah, OK fair enough

Can we assume that cPanel has been made aware through a cPanel ticket or bugzilla entry, or has someone yet to do that?
