I am working on a site that uses Joomla and Cpanel as there backend. It is my first web development project and honestly the biggest frustration is how I can not simply go to a given webpage on this site and find exactly what the file name of the webpage is on the backend. Is there some way of doing this quick with firebug or inspect element?

You might want to ask this on the Joomla support forums.

Joomla is a Content Management System so there is no one page on the back-end that corresponds to the page you see on the site. It's database driven. You need to login to the Administrator section and make edits through the interface provided.
