I have today got the following errors on a server that has had its hard disk replaced recently:
WARNING: Kernel Errors Present
hda: DMA timeout error...: 2 Time(s)
hda: dma timeout error: status=0xd0 { B...: 2 Time(s)
Does this indicate that it is likely to be a hard disk fault ??
I am also getting the following errors, but I'm not sure if they are connected:
Cron <root@server> run-parts /etc/cron.daily
/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
error: error running shared postrotate script for /var/log/cups/*_log
error: error running postrotate script
error: error running postrotate script
error: error running postrotate script
error: error running shared postrotate script for /var/log/messages /var/log/secure /var/log/maillog /var/log/spooler /var/log/boot.log /var/log/cron
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks
Daniel
