    The manual reads

FCGI — This option serves PHP through mod_fcgid. This is a fast way of serving PHP requests but will most likely require that you tweak php.conf

however I fcgi running (installed through easy apache) on 3 VPS and everything seems to work fine and my host seems to think no additional configuration is needed.

One system admin did tweak my php.ini but nothing with php.conf

How far does EasyApache take the fcgi config and what whould I look for afterwards?
