Every day at 327am I get this:
Job /usr/bin/python2.2 -S /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/cron/nightly_gzip terminated (exit status: 1) (mailing output)

Every day at 430am i get this:
Job /usr/bin/python2.2 -S /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/cron/cull_bad_shunt terminated (exit status: 1) (mailing output)

Every day at 800am I get this:
Job /usr/bin/python2.2 -S /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/cron/checkdbs terminated (exit status: 1) (mailing output)

Every day at 900am I get this:
Job /usr/bin/python2.2 -S /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/cron/disabled terminated (exit status: 1) (mailing output)

every day at 1200pm I get this:
Job /usr/bin/python2.2 -S /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/cron/senddigests terminated (exit status: 1) (mailing output)

What the heck is going on here? Is there something wrong? What do I do to resolve this?

Hello,

I've updated the jobs to use python2.4 instead of python2.2 and should not report anymore errors.

If this problem does persist then please do let us know so we can look into this in more depth.

I will tail the logs for a while and see if there are any fcron errors reported.

Thank You!

mabey...

Hello,

I changed the crontab/frcon SHELL to sh:

SHELL = /bin/sh

Please test now and see if it's working. I read on the Mailman user's list this was how the issue was fixed.

Thank you.

Fixed!

Hello,

I am running trustix and the following fix was needed for me: (if you are not running Trustix, there is most likely a very similar fix needed if not the same)

I changed the shell in /etc/passwd for the "mailman" user to /bin/sh. I had read on the Mailman users list this was needed with Trustix.

Thank you.
