Hi I thought this would be a great Idea, for the new cPanel 102 and up

I had an issue with the Nginx being down, I did get a notification from an email ( but then again sometimes we have had issues getting notifications due to what email service were using) I've seen other users complain about other notifications that Gmail sometimes does not deliver the email etc..

so I thought it would be great to get a notification in WHM when we login, for any service that is down or having an issue
so every thing from Home / Server Status / Service Status would popup in the top right corner where we ger notification of updates...

so right now i have a ticket open because Nginx is down. wont restart - and it would be nice if it had a little notification saying Nginx is down.
and if another service was down it would get a notification there that its down, and then if service goes back up notification its up.

then incase we don't see our email or it does not get delivered and we login we know there is an issue.
That would be a great thing to have in that top right Notification area

Thanks

This should already exist on the server, set up somewhere in the WHM settings as I get email notifications from the server when a service is down.

(Not on an nginx server)

As pointed out below, I misread that you wanted additional info as well as email notices. So I'd say a feature request call would be the way to push it :)

OP says they already receive email notifications, just fyi. They are looking for more robust notifications within the WHM UI itself. While it's not something I would personally make huge use of, it's a very logical user experience element to include.

- Another Idea would be to get notifications on the top right in WHM as well for AutoSSL Expiring soon and or AutoSSL Issues as well both for Sectigo expirations and LetsEncrypt.

this notification area could be an endless place for all notifications.
this is another GREAT REASON for this notification area to get AutoSSL Expiration and Failure notices here. for Hostnames etc.. and cPanel accounts.. just so we are aware of them and can handle them right away since were all having issues with Sectigo right now and can update our clients to LetEncrypt or Back to Sectigo etc.

Hope to get this feature request approved ;)
