SOLVED features.cpanel.net

Hello,

When I try to change my password or settings at features.cpanel.net, my browser window becomes darker and blurry. Pressing Esc restores the window to the original state. The form for submitting an idea appears to work, except the submit button appears to have no effect. Does anyone know if features.cpanel.net is working correctly? If features.cpanel.net is working correctly, then I can go about figuring what the issue is on my end.

There appears to be no mechanism on features.cpanel.net for me to ask this question, that is why I am asking here.

Can you tell me which browser you're using that you experienced this? I discussed this with the community team and they were unaware of any issues I also was unable to replicate. Also, if you can send me screenshots directly (via PM - the envelope at the top next to alerts) It would help immensely.

The features website has been messed up for me for some time.

It's missing the time on the front page, i.e.:

At least that's how it shows on Linux FireFox 74 and Linux Chrome 80. Maybe it's a Linux thing? Would suspect that something in the javascript is not loading.

Yea, I noticed it as well and reported it today too! You can copy the text and it shows up as well. From what I understand they updated last week and are encountering some issues with it since then.

This may have been going on for longer than a week.

Used to - when I clicked on Trending to sort by New/Updated - this was all out of alignment. This looks to be straight now. But I also am usually at my computer at work when viewing this page - now I'm stuck at home. Maybe my browser is different here. I do run NoScript so that may affect some of the javascript, although I'm not seeing any Untrusted sources on that page.

I thought about opening a post some time ago about it, but I figured it was just something with my javascript, never really investigated it too heavily. Hope it doesn't turn into another Feature Request server crash, like it did... whatever year that was.

I am using Firefox 75.0 on Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS. When selecting the envelope at the top, to send you screenshots, I am greeted with a dropdown menu that says "Conversations", "You have no recent conversations.", and "Show all...". Am I selecting the wrong envelope or missing something obvious?

The response time thing is something I was able to replicate pretty widely so I don't think that was your browser. The stuff being out of order in trending I've not seen but it does look good now (to me at least)

Yea, that shouldn't happen again, pretty sure after the recovery process that lesson was pretty well learned. It was the year Harvey hit so 2017 - the primary db failed as a result of power loss in the Houston DC because....flooding and it was discovered that it hadn't been syncing to the remote server for some time. Thankfully our sysadmin department has tripled since then so we're much more adequately staffed!

I sent you a conversation message let me know if you're able to see it etc., I think being a newer member you're just not able to Start conversations.

So, this should be resolved now for all of the issues. There seems to have been an issue with the theme causing the issues you were seeing. Let me know if you experience any issues, I tested out the site myself today and wasn't able to replicate any of them any longer.
