Fedora 12 and cPanel

    I noticed that older versions of Fedora aren't supported any more, but what about the current version?

    Sorry if it's a stupid question lol

    New versions of Fedora are not supported

    We do not support installation on the current version of Fedora. Fedora should be regarded as a testing ground for changes that eventually make their way into Red Hat and CentOS, and it is not an ideal platform for a hosting server. We test extensively on Red Hat and CentOS but do not test on Fedora, so while it may work, we cannot support it.

    Legacy versions of Fedora were supported in the past, and we will continue to support them for existing installations only (we will not support new installations of old versions), but we strongly encourage and urge users of those versions to update to a new OS that gets updates from its vendor. Old Fedora versions are orphans because they no longer get updates from Red Hat and it is becoming more and more difficult to find working yum mirrors.
