Hi i was wondering if anyoone is using the folowing options in Cpanel. They are .. Php-nuke, OsCommerce and invisionboard.

What i wanted to know specifically if you have enabled them and do they pose errors with the php 4.3.1 as i know php nuke was an issue on the earlier version.

Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

Maybe even what version they are running. Thanks

I prefer Post-Nuke.

It's a bit of a hassel to have various cpanel skins that provide/offer various combinations of addons, but I like OS and Invision. Although It would be great if the powers that be could cut a deal with VBulletin for discounted pricing.

I agree with you totally.
I prefer Post nuke too but i noticed that cpanel itself has these 3 items in it without even getting any extra themes.
So i wanted to enable them but wasnt sure if they were working properly to start of with.

Also what versions is panel insatlling of those 3 products?

I believe they are automagically updated.

BTW - Agora's been around awhile also. I would *think* it's also a viable solution for many ecom sites.

PHP-Nuke will never see the light of day on any of my Servers. Having used it for awhile I know what a resource hog it is on a Server.

Heard there were/are security issues with OsCommerce and not having time to check into it, have not installed.

Invisonboard sounds like the next best thing to phpBB, but as current versions of WHM/Cpanel seem to have a problem with phpBB, will install it manually for any Client who wants it. Although I'm glad XMB was dropped in favour of phpBB, setup could be a bit better (or hey, what about updating the Manuals?) as most Clients do not know how to access the Admin area after setup. I also don't know why, but would like to, the letters "XMB" are still used when setting up a phpBB Forum? Is it that difficult to change the mySQL setup to something more anonymous? Does Invisionboard also use "XMB" for mySQL?

Still using PHP v4.2.3 so no problems on that end with anything.

Bluelagoon for Cpanel, does not have any problems with things of this nature as DarkOrb is very good about making sure this Theme works well.
