1: ive created a backup, its 2.5GB, permissions are 777, extension = tar.gz
# when trying to download it via http, i get a 403 you are not authorizsed to view this.
# smart ftp, it doesnt appear
# command prompt ftp, i get a 'The File Is To Large'

2: in cpanel their is a scripts library for auto install of IVP etc, in WHM, how can i update it so that the default version isnt 1.3, i want it to be the latest version by default install


any help on the above matters will be appreciated

What's the URL you are downloading the backup from? Where is the backup located? Have you tried moving the file to a directory that you know can be publicly accessed via HTTP? That's the first thing I would try.

I wouldn't be surprised if 2.5GB is too large for many FTP clients. Try a secure FTP client such as WinSCP.

I imagine that IVP version 1.3 may be the latest free version. The current version requires a licence and possibly this couldn't be easily arranged through Cpanel.
