My friend is in the market for a new Server, I know from personal expirence that most of my AMD machines have been solid. However I've never run a 32bit linux on a 64bit processor, and ontop of that I have run 64bit linux and I wasn't that impressed (6months ago). So Iknow alot changes. But can run a 32bit os like CentOS with the 64bit processor? If not is cpanel running ok with the 64bit os'es as of yet?

Running a 32bit OS on a 64bit AMD poses no restrictions or problems at all. Running 64bit on a 64bit processor does - mostly due to library issues.
