    Hi all!

I received this message from my host tonight. I've already changed my PW. But I'd like to see if anyone can think of a way that I can figure out how/when this was uploaded.

The tech I talked with didn't know of any way.

    Thanks.

    Don

if they did not enter though FTP or cpanel thaen you have a insecure php script

I would asume your host would have checked the access logs for both cpnal & FTP

Have your host run the following command at shell. It will search through your .php,.cgi and .pl files for common hacker keywords so you might find any other exploited scripts. It will write results to a text file called results.txt

Given the information you posted alone, I'd say your host has a lot to learn ...

The information posted is not a reference to a bit torrent file and does not in itself
indicate any kind of compromise or any kind of problem.

Now with that said, there could be an issue but I would not jump to any immediate
conclusions like your host apparently did.
