    Hello lads,

    Can somebody point me to a solution on how to fix the following error (I've searched the forums for any similar threads and failed finding any)

    Could not open PWD: Permission denied at cpanel.pl line 629
    Carp::croak('Could not open PWD: Permission denied') called at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Fileman.pm line 651
    Cpanel::Fileman::listfiles('') called at cpanel.pl line 629
    main::__ANON__('') called at cpanel.pl line 1779
    main::exectag('<cpanel Fileman="listfiles($FORM{\'dir\'})">') called at cpanel.pl line 4809
    main::dotag(undef) called at cpanel.pl line 4676
    main::cpanel_parseblock('SCALAR(0x9114234)') called at cpanel.pl line 4628
    main::cpanel_parse('GLOB(0x93a59a0)') called at cpanel.pl line 1311

    I have root access to the Server, but I failed finding the usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Fileman.pm

    Any help or a hint would be highly appreciated.

    I think forcing an update should sort this. Worth a try anyway. ;)

    yeah, I totally forgot that 90 % of the cPanel problems are getting fixed with a cPanel update anyways :)

    The problem has been fixed having in mind that the owner or the files was root.root. I have settled the perms chowning the cpanel dirs to the relevant user and voila

    Thanks anyways :)
