We have issues on one server for the last 2 weeks when a client uploads or makes a file edit it changes permissions on directories to 777 and files to 666, also changes the home dir to 644, this happens in file manager and also the sub domain manager page. So far it has only happened on one server and 4 clients on that server.
Has anyone else had this issue? Anyone got ideas what is causing it?

Sounds like phpsuexec isn't enabled. Make sure that you've got phpsuexec properly compiled on that server.

That has nothing to do with this as we have servers with it and without it, and they all work.

not for sure if its related but there was a file manager bug that was fixed in EDGE approx 3 weeks ago

This bug would prevent you from creating a folder using the manager

might try a update to EDGE and see if it fixes the issue
