Hello,

I notice a "You have made no changes to save" message appear in the bottom right corner of the page when clicking "Save Changes" without making modifications. Could you verify which version of cPanel is installed on this system?

Thank you.

I'm unable to reproduce that behavior on cPanel version 64.0.20. Could you provide step-by-step instructions on how you are reproducing the issue? Also, have you reproduced the issue with multiple web browsers?

Thank you.

Hello,

Ace Editor was included with cPanel version 64, but I'm not able to reproduce the issue you have described. Could you provide step-by-step instructions on how you are reproducing the issue? Also, have you reproduced the issue with multiple web browsers?

Thank you.

OK, Go to File Manager then open any files with Code Edit. Edit some thing and make "save change", Click again "save change" without any edit then are getting "You have made no changes to save" message?

I am seeing what I believe Nirjonadda is reporting on 64.0.20

Once one has 'saved' the document once, the editor stops checking to see if there were any successive edits or not, and saves every time without reporting if no further edits were made.

It is not a show stopper by any means :) The behavior is curious, but I would be a lot more concerned if it wasn't saving, or reporting that there were no edits when there had been !

I have same issue. I edit a file, then I press save, it saves (obviously). Then I click "Save Changes" again and it does same. So I never see this message "You have made no changes to save" anymore. Its very frustrating. How can be fixed?

Hello,

Internal case CPANEL-13258 is open to address an issue related to how the Code Editor feature offered in File Manager responds to content changes when clicking the "Save" button. I'll monitor this case and update this thread with the outcome.

Thank you.

Update: The case number is now CPANEL-13583.

There's no additional information to report at this time. I'll update this thread with more information as soon as it becomes available.

Thanks!
