Mail for one of our customers is handled by a remote server for which we have configured the MX which works fine for messages semt from elswhere.

However, his site have a contact form, and whenever a user submits it it is dumped into the local mailbix instead of being relayed according to the MX record.

I assume this is because it is seen as a message for local deliver.

What Linux file handles local delivery? Is there any other way of causing locally sent mail to be delivered to the remote server?

    Thank you.
