File too large

    anyone know why I can't upload a 5GB file to my server? It is a 5GB file however, I have the quotas set to 10GB. Any ideas?

    I keep getting this error through my linux FTP client:

    &File too large&

    But you can create a single 5GB file... hrmmm... :)

    Oh well, I found a work around. scp via SSH. Worked like a charm.

    Hi,

    Any way to increase the ftp limit to a value higher than 2gb?

    Working fine proftp

    Hi,

    With proftpd, I'm able to get and put files larger than 2GB... :)

    So, it seems to be a problem with only pure-ftpd.. If anyone know any way to get this work on pure-ftp, please do let know...
