    Hello,

I understand and tried before transfering files from one server to another.

But has not tried copying an account over. Must it be CPANEL in order to do the job?

    What about ensim, webmin, plesk?

    Thanks

    Check out

    Hello,

Do u want to transfer an account from Ensim or Plesk, to WHM.
Both are supported by WHM. But not webmin.
You can use the "Copy an account from another server " option and follow the instructions carefully.

    Regards,

    Thanks Vishal,

    Finally someone responded.

What about CPANEL? will there be any problem?

Basically I just need to userid and password? That applies to ENSIM and PLESK as well?

    Thanks

    Hello, :)

I have tried transferring accounts around 100 + accounts from plesk 5.x to WHM. Without any problems. I am not sure about Ensim. But even Ensim transfer should work without any probs.

If at all u wanna transfer single a/c or Multiple a/cs u have it in WHM.

It Needs the root passwd and the ip of the server.
for single user it needs the username.

No problem to CPanel at all.

    Best luck..

    Regards,
    :)

    Hello,

Then simply use the feature of transferring an account with user name. and that will work.

    Regards,
    :p

lol, I transfered all my accounts from ensim to cpanel last month and all my databases got screwed up. I had to manually transfer the databases over and i still have one database i left on the ensim server that is still currently running remotly because its over 300 MB's in size and when i try to install it on cpanel it gives me an error. I need to move that database but the sad thing is i dunno what i can do to get it moved.. One database i installed, i finnally installed it on the forum from its own backup install feature it had, with my site that i'm hosting, i peiced it together little by little installing it from phpmyadmin, the only way i can do that vbulletin database is using ssh because its so big and im totally lost on getting it installed.

    Simple

    Hello,

Why don't u go for rsync for the Ensim server. take the database from there might be in var/lib/mysql and put it in your whm server /var/lib/mysql and change the permissions. Make sure u rename it in the format of cpanel i.e USERNAME_databasename and chowned it with mysql.mysql.

See rsync help on web or let me know. i'll tell you how to do it.

    Regards,
    ;)
