File upload error

    cPanel Access Level:
    Root Administrator
    Error:

    Upload Canceled: could not copy the file “” to “/home/XXX/public_html/themes/default/common/css/bootstrap-v3.4.min.css” due to the following error: Permission denied

    The folder where files are being uploaded has permission 755

    I have WHM access, in other cPanel accounts on the same server I am able to upload files.

    Solved the problem. I was trying to upload to a folder which was created via SSH by Root user. Thats why the issue
