fileman::fullbackup email confirmation

Using fileman::fullbackup and it creates the backups without issue. Email confirmations are not being sent though, but they are being sent when initiated directly from cpanel. Is there a variable to turn completed backup notifications on/off?

Is an email address definately being supplied?? Usually the only on or off is if an email is supplied its on if not its off. I haven't heard of any other method of overriding this.
