fileutils failed checksum test

Please forgive me if this question has been asked before, but I was unable to find it while doing a search. When attempting to run upcp or update cp from WHM, i get the following error message:

fileutils failed checksum test

I get the same thing! Did you ever find out what's causing this?

In the error I get is says this:

S.5....T c /etc/DIR_COLORS

I get this too. I doubt it is a hacker. Obviously has been caused by a recent WHM update.
