FileZilla Secure is now available as a forked project of FileZilla. filezillasecure.com

Have been amazed over the years why simple encryption of login credentials has not been included in FileZilla and why the developer has been so adamantly opposed to doing it. So called "security experts" have been touting FileZilla since forever in spite of this serious shortcoming.

    Hello,

I've moved this thread over to our Security forum.

Can this be trusted, I see no reference to it on filezilla-project.

This isn't an official project from Filezilla. It's a third-party application that was forked from the FileZilla project. I would treat it with caution, and consider waiting for more feedback before using it.

    Thank you.
