    Hi,

    I am wondering if it is possible to filter outgoing e-mail content based on a certain selection of words and just prevent the e-mail from ever being sent if the criteria is met.

    Basically, I want a way to stop the eBay scammers/spammers. I realize for the most part they could change words around etc. For the most part the scam phrase/email body is always the same so I figured I would ask if this is possible.

    If anyone knows a way to do this it would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance for any help!

    in etc/antivirus.exim

    add something like this

    # Exim Filter

    if "$message_body" matches

    "(www.scammersdomain.com|somethingelse|ebayscam|www.suntrust.com/images/Common/release3/logo_home.gif)"
    then
    seen finish
    endif

    (( also this if from another post you may want to use:

    Protect file from being over written by cpanel, ssh as root

    chattr +i /etc/antivirus.exim

    You'll also have to remember to use:

    chattr -i /etc/antivirus.exim

    when you want to edit the file, then lock the file back up again with chattr +i

    ))
