    Hi All,

I am new to hosting and I run my own servers, I am pretty new to redhat also, (rh8) how can I check my system to be sure I have a firewall running with the proper settings to block any hack attempts?

    Thanks

On http://faq.cpanel.net/ there is a topic mentioning which ports must be left open through a firewall for cpanel to work.

Actually there's quite a few of tidbits of information there - be sure to look it over. Be sure to click on "Show All Topics"

Thank you. I did follow the install directions listed on cpanel, but just wanted to be able to confirm I did the firewall right :)
