As the title says this is my first ever cPanel installation and I've already made things complicated. Due to time constraints I've brought the new server home for the weekend and setup Centos 5 with minimum features and ready to install cPanel. This would have it's own fixed public IP when it is put to the production environment at office later next week. But now at home it is getting a 10.0.0.3 private IP from the broadband router.
For cPanel I would want to run it with a trial license and make the purchace later before the trial expires.
My main concern is how I sould address this IP change?
Can I install cpanel with the current private IP and later switch to the permanent public IP when I take the server to office and what are the config settings that I should be changing?
Are there any post/pre installation changes that I need to do?
Will there be conflicts with the licensing and any suggestion would be highly appreciated as I'm totally new to this and I do not want to be in a position to start everything all over agian.
