    Let see...
I had the same error 2 times in a week....
mysql fail, and I need to manually go to WHM and reset password (set mysql root pass) to fix it...

is there any "automated" way of checking mysql, and doing this or any "real" fix to this?

I dont want to be up at 4 AM due to mysql failing... you know.

    Regards.

    Hi Cass,

Please check the error logs. Mostly that will help you to solve the issue. If you are getting the error like this"Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (111) "then please try to create a symlink in /tmp directory for mysql.sock file. This file will be mostily available in /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

Hope this will solve the problem.

    Regards,:)
