Hello guys at cPanel...just a quick question: If someone would like to share the same password to his cPanel public html directory ( that has few add on sites in seperate folders in it ) with someone - is it possible to protect those folders with an additional password ? I can't see the options there apart from 'index manager' but this is different I guess. Regards.

If you protect the folder with an additional password, then opening the site in a browser will also prompt for a password before any content will be displayed. It is called cPanel > Password Protect Directories area, but not advised if the user needs to have online content displayed without requiring a password.

Thank you. I know this option. I was just wondering if there's only internal password protection of the folders - but it looks like there's not any at present.
