font problem mysql

    hi,


    we have moved website form one host another host. we have restore cpanel backup.
    when we browse the website we are getting font problem like
    fontt has been changed ==>>> ỿ ̿ ̿ Ŀ ÿỿ

    how to fix this isue?

    Did you maintain your database collation across migrations? IF you were previously on 7-bit character set (latin, etc.) and moved to a utf-8 collation, stuff like this could occur. Equally, loading 7-bit chars into a system with a SET NAMES value of utf-8 can do this too.

    Definitely a character collation issue though, you just have to figure on which end. Database, or output.

    mysql font problem

    HI,

    i am using 4.0 mysql version; i had take backup of mysql.
    i got new server where i did install mysql 4.1.14
    i restored backup which has been taken on mysql version 4.0.

    i have tried all char set or collation for it but no luck.
    i have downgraded mysql version; it is also not working
    i have upgraded mysql version again but still no luck.
