Footer to every mail

    Hi,
    is there a way to add a footer to every mail sent trought my server?

    you can do this if you check through the config. Another way is also to possibly use something such as mailscanner and then append a message after scanning.

    After you enable the inserting footer in mailscanner, open this:

    /usr/mailscanner/etc/reports/en/inline.sig.txt -> text message insertion

    /usr/mailscanner/etc/reports/en/inline.sig.html -> html message insertion

    Thanks, but how do you enable the inserting footer in Mailscanner. I used the layer1 version from Cpanel.

    open /usr/mailscanner/etc/MailScanner.conf

    There is a setting inside it to add the message of mail scanned by MailScanner.

    What he said is add a footer to email sent out, do mailscanner scan out going mails too ?

    The layer1 default installation will do for both in and outgoing email it doesn't distinguish between the two unless you configure it to do so using the rules features.
