Ever since I can remember, I've actually been surprised if I go to build apache via cpanel and it worked without me doing at least an hour of googling cpanel errors and editing the apache config.

So last night I went to add freetype support, and no surprise when it finishes apache is down again. Yay. Except now, not only has it erased my configuration (I expected this, I had a backup) but now apache won't compile at all.

It fails while making apache, and it gave me these helpful errors that produced no good results on google:
I've tried everything, including resetting the config default, upgrading to current and edge releases, etc. And now once again all of my sites are down thanks to the buggy software that I pay $40/month for. If I tallied up all the downtime I've had because of bugs like this, It would probably be at least a week. That's around $700 you've made me lose. If this isn't resolved today, I'm getting rid of cpanel on all of my servers and never using it again. I'm tried of this crap.

I've tried apache 1 and 2 with a bunch of different configuration options, but it always turns out the same.

Since you are having so many issues with EasyApache and EastApache 3, I would recommend submitting a support ticket directly with us (https://tickets.cpanel.net/submit/index.cgi?reqtype=tickets). Our support policies are a little relaxed at the moment due to the cPanel 11 release.
