Hello,

I've just moved some sites from one VPS to another ( WHM transfer tool ), all subdomains are not accessible now, I have an error like this on my browser:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
The subdomains are in these directories:
/home/USER/subdomains/subdomain1
/home/USER/subdomains/subdomain2
ecc

P.S.

I`ve just tried to make a new subdomain and I have the same problem , in the error log I can see:
[Sat Jun 09 12:04:26.334894 2018] [core:crit] [pid 15524:tid 140087620773632] (13)Permission denied: [client xx.xx.xx.xx:55251] AH00529: /home/xxx/subdomains/.htaccess pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file, ensure it is readable and that '/home/xxx/subdomains/' is executable, referer: http://www.nando.xxx.eu/

I looked in /home/xxx/subdomains/ and I can`t see the .htaccess file ( it is not present olso in the old VPS and all subdomains were working)

Ok I probably fuond the solution:
/home/xxx/subdomains was 750, I changed the permission of this directory to 755 and now everything works, but is it safe?

On the old VPS the directory have 750 permission end everything was fine.
