I've been searching and have not found anything. I know how to force password changes for cpanel, but is it possible to force users to change their email passwords?

I just can't believe the users I see using passwords from years ago that are not secure at all.

    Thank you for any help.

    Hello :)

You can set a password age for cPanel, webmail, and WHM users. This is documented at:

    Configure Security Policies

However, there are currently no native options that will force an email account user to change their password. You are welcome to submit a feature request for this at:

    Feature Requests for cPanel/WHM

    Thank you.

What happens exactly when a Password hits its Age Limit?

Do users get an email? Or are they asked to change their password when they login the next time?

There is little documentation on what occurs when the limit is reached...

Hi Scik.. When the limit is reached, the next time you login it asks to change the password. The process is to enter the old password & then set a new one.
