How can I force Webmail to use SSL when I'm using shared hosting and the host won't (or can't) enable the functionality in WHM? Is there another way to do it?
Hey there! There isn't going to be a way to change the redirection from what the host has configured, but the SSL will always be present if you manually call it with https and port 2096. I'd expect one of the following to work well:

Yes, SSL works properly when going to https://webmail.domain.com but when the user goes to http://webmail.domain.com it shows the page is not secure and it the login doesn't work (it just loops back to the login page).
It's 2022, I would think using SSL for login pages would be the default instead of an option...
Even if the page weren't secure, I would still expect the login to work properly, so it sounds like there may be more happening behind the scenes. Have you reached out to the hosting provider about that issue?
