ForceType does nothing

    Hello, I have spent hours searching for an answer with no luck.

    My .htaccess file reads:
    Code:
    <Files dirit.txt> 
    ForceType application/x-httpd-php 
    </Files> 
    Inside dirit.txt, it reads:

    $nav = $_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"];
    $script = $_SERVER["SCRIPT_NAME"];
    $nav = ereg_replace("^$script", "", $nav);
    $vars = explode("/", $nav);
    $id = $vars[1];
    
    header("Location: http://www.domain.com/beta/?act=services");
    ?>
    
    I don't think it is a problem with my code, but how Apache is setup. Does anyone know how I can enable ForceType?

    Go on, have a guess
    Do you have phpsuexec enabled or not? If you do, then you cannot use those directives in a .htaccess file, you have to set it up within a local php.ini
