I thought that CPanel had a forgotten password feature.

Yep. The login screen, it gives you the option of resetting your password by entering in your login username, and clicking on a button.
WHM, on the other hand, does not. But assuming you know which account would be the "primary", you can still get a password this way.

In the past there was a problem with password reset being unsecure, many hosts turned this feature off. Not everyone will see that option on the CPanel login screen. If it's not there you will have to contact your host.
