    Hi Friends,

I am facing problems with regard to FormMail-Clone i.e; FormMail.cgi which is present in the cPanel's cgi-sys folder. The error that I am getting is as below when I have the URL http://domain.com/cgi-sys/FormMail.cgi :

    FormMail-Clone
The system administrator has disabled this script.

I have checked for the tweak settings and everything is fine there, also checked for the file attributes, ownership, permissions (755) and everything fine there too. I have done a upcp but still no success.

Any help form here will be appreciated ....

Thankyou in advance to all the forum members .....

In WHM under Packages/Feature Manager RC/Edit a Feature List/Edit is the item 'Email Scripts (cgiemail, formmail)' checked?

If you are sure the other items you mention are correct then there is not much more that I could suggest, I have been looking at formmail closely as I had some idiots trying to hijack my scripts. I wrote a thread about it on this forum http://vpscolo.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=95 but of course this article was to disable formmail, so look at it in reverse. :)

Just noticed a cPanel update that might also want to be checked if you use edge.

    ☺Hi Izzy,

Thanks for the response, I have checked for the Feature Manager and everything is fine there. Just, for your information I have the update prefernce as the Stable version.

Anythings to be checked manually on the server, please update as.

    Thankyou....

    Problem solved

    Hi,

I see that on cPanel you have an item called "CGI Center" and there you will see the option "FormMail Clone" - if it's not here, that's the problem. In that case I activated an option on WHM in "Tweak Settings" -> "Software" -> "FormMail-clone cgi" and then the problem has been solved.

    Hope that's help you.
Let me know if there are anything else I can search and do.

    Regards.

    Re: Problem solved

Please I am also going through the same predicament. I tried to follow your prescriptions but my cpanel does not have FormMail-clone in the "CGI Center" and I don't know how to locate this option on my cpanel: "WHM in "Tweak Settings" -> "Software" -> "FormMail-clone cgi"

    Please guide me.

    Thanks
