formmail error

    When trying to use my form, I keep getting this error:

    "HTTP 500 - Internal server error
    Internet Explorer "

    I am using the cgiemail. I have posted my code below. any help would be great!!

    text file "general.txt" :

    From:[youremail]
    To: myemail@address.com
    Subject: General Question

    Name? [yourname]
    Email? [youremail]
    Message? [yourmessage]


    My form:

    <FORM METHOD="POST" ACTION="/cgi-bin/cgiemail/general.txt">

    Name <input type="text" name="yourname" value="" style="height:21px; width:163px; font-size:14px " ><br>

    E-mail:
    <input type="text" name="youremail" value="" style="height:21px; width:163px; font-size:14px " ><br>

    In the "action" parameter try using the fully qualified domain name then /cgi-bin/......

    I tried that and it didn't work. I also tried to upload the file normally, in ASCII format, and Binary format....nothing.

    The action has to call a cgi script not a text file.

    I'm having the same difficulty and I can't seem to find an answer to this problem. Any other ideas?

    Thanks. I'm going to check it out now. I've been up all night trying to resolve the issue, but still no luck from the forums. I'll post my success if I gain any!
