Forums - Can't Edit My Post?

I don't seem to be able to edit my posts here in the cPanel Forums. Is that intentional?

I assumed that I would be able to continue to edit them because I am able to edit them immediately after posting: an Edit button appears to the right of the Report button below the post. But I guess editing is disabled after someone replies? Or after a certain time?

I think then that it may be better for me to share advice and techniques on customizing Jupiter on a blog or an external forum then. I had imagined that I could post things here and then update them in response to changes to files or feedback from other community members.
