    Hello, I have several forwarders setup to a gmail account. When I try e-mailing that address I don't get any bounce back but the e-mail never shows up in gmail.

    I checked /var/log/exim_mainlog and it shows:

    014-09-25 22:24:15 1XXHSR-0015lw-4N => xxx@gmail.com <cpaneluser@mydomain.com> R=lookuphost T=remote_smtp H=gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com [74.125.20.26] X=UNKNOWN:ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256:128 C="250 2.0.0 OK 1411683853 d7si5974047pdf.132 - gsmtp"
    2014-09-25 22:24:15 1XXHSR-0015lw-4N Completed

    Any idea how to track down why gmail is filtering out my forwarded e-mails? It's not showing up in gmail's spam folder, I'm not receiving an error, I'm not receiving a bounce back....totally in the dark here.

    I've checked:

    dnstools and mxtoolbox shows all green on my domain's dns record status
    reverse dns is configured
    port 25 is open and I'm able to telnet to it
    ssl certificates are installed and active

    Thanks!

    Hello :)

    Have you tried setting up a separate test email account to forward mail to a different Gmail address to see if the same thing happens?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    It turns out there was an entry showing under mail delivery reports saying: "SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: host alt4.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com [173.194.73.26]: 421-4.7.0 [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 15] Our system has detected an unusual rate of\n421-4.7.0 unsolicited mail originating from your IP addres"

    I'm not sure why it would do that so quickly. I have a few e-mail accounts all forwarding to gmail but it would probably only do a few per hour max and it worked fine on another webhost before I transferred this cpanel account to my own server.

    I'm still clawing my way through google searches trying to figure out how to get around this.

    Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
