I have a domain, say mydomain.com. I'd like to forward all mail for that domain to an email address on another domain, say, other@otherdomain.com.

I figured I'd just set the default address to "other@otherdomain.com".

    That doesn't forward any email.

So I thought maybe I'd make a pop account dummy@mydomain.com and have it set as the default. Then I tried making a forward for dummy@mydomain.com to send it to other@otherdomain.com.

    didn't work

How would I go about forwarding all mail at a given domain to an email address at another domain?

    Dear bobbybobbertson,

Create an .forward file in user\'s home directory
    to do this.

An sample .forward file which redirect mail coming to jdoe user ID to e-mail ID specfied.

    \\jdoe, John.Doe@system2.example.com,

Also, you can use procmail to filter mails of your intreast.

    Regards,
