Forwards to Gmail addresses don't work

Hi,
I have set up a wordpress installation on cpanel and a contact form that points to a gmail address. However it won't send any mail to it.
If I change the address to a non-gmail email address it works.

I have heard there is some problem using gmail but I don't know how to get round it - could someone help a newbie, please?

Extra info: I don't get any error messages.

Do you have root access to the server? If so, you should be able to spot the issue within /var/log/exim_mainlog.
