Hello,

I have seem a lot of posts complaining about the cPanel Trial banner, but there arguments are mostly flawed as they are trying to use cPanel for free. I am not trying to use cPanel for free, nor am I not paying for cPanel already.

Lets take a look at the problem I have. I have my servers co-located in 3 different data centers with 3 different networks, 2 of the 3 offer cPanel at better rates cPanel does not, plus another pro is keeping everything on one invoice, it really helps especially for a cost under $50.

I have a good number of clients VPS servers and cPanel hosting. I keep all my resources fair and never oversell so I often adding new cPanel servers, or at times I may need to change the main IP address for unforeseen reasons. When this happens I need a new license or renewed, but if I am not available I can not allow an employee to make those changes with my host. Also sometimes my host has issues registering my IP and it takes a bit longer then RIGHT away. I have ran into having to use a trial license for production more then once because of issues with a license. It is ugly and makes me look unprofessional.

I think you should remove it from any non reseller or root account.

To be fair the trial version is made for people who wish to try out cPanel, and although you have found a need to install this version, it was not made with situations like this in mind.

The version you are looking for is the one that comes with an IOU billing plan: "Intermediate Use: Will Purchase Later" version. It's not out of Alpha development yet.

All jokes aside, it would be more practical for you to spin up cPanel Servers with Advanced Planning rather than have cPanel edit the Trial Version with customizations outside of it's original purpose.

Okay, But like today there was a problem with my cPanel liscense with my host, I received my new /24 and when I went to order cPanel from ym host it said the IPs did not belong to them. I am waiting 24 hours for them to add them now.
