We have just started using cPanel, but are using ZFS for our /home to speed up reboots when a fsck is required.

Can we configure cPanel to configure the quotas in ZFS vs UFS? If so, how?

FreeBSD 7.1 is the OS we are running on. I did a search and didn't find anything on it through the forum.

TIA

Thanks for the reply. I am curious as to the module that tracks and writes the quotas for UFS (maybe we can modify it to work with ZFS if it is in PERL). We will continue to use ZFS regardless, but I just wanted to know.

Add this to your kernel configuration

Code:
options QUOTA
Be sure to enable them in rc.conf.

This should get your started with standard quotas. http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/books/handbook/quotas.html
