In recent news announcements cPanel has said FreeBSD for now won't upgrade past 11.30 and that IPv6 support will be fully functional in 11.36.

So now I'm wondering am I the only FreeBSD cPanel admin that would like IPv6? What are my options?

-Learn CentOS and replace FreeBSD with it?
-Wait and see if cPanel will support FreeBSD with IPv6 in the future?

FreeBSD will remain on version 11.30 until a future date (yet to be determined) when an OS-decoupled version of cPanel&WHM is available. This means cPanel&WHM on FreeBSD will not support IPv6 until that OS-decoupled version is available.

Keep in mind that version 11.30 is a long-term support release so we will continually update it for security fixes, but any new features from 11.32 onward will not appear in 11.30, and thus not be available on FreeBSD.
