jailshell on my freebsd box works just fine. Running FreeBSD 4.9 with cpanel 8.70-R26.

But its about worthless. Sure you can edit files with vi but you can't run nslookup, dig, traceroute. These are the things most of my customers want shell access for.

    At least whois worked.

Hmm, no problem with jailshell on my Cpanel 4.9 machines, but on 5.1 we have the same "vfsloading of null failed", so I conclude that it is a version conflict with FreeBSD 5.1

I also the the rebuild world warning in the logfiles.

    Bug reported...

I've had this problem for weeks, reported it as a bug and they said the developers are working on it, should not be long hopefully.

I am very disturbed that this has been a reported problem for over 2 months and cpanel hasn't resolved it as of yet.

I will add my name to the list of paying customers waiting to see this resolved.

Seems that they fixed most of the issues but they did not include /lib /libexec to mounted dirs. Such a simple issue and it takes forever to fix ?

    i'm having this problem on:

    WHM 9.4.0 cPanel 9.4.0-E13
    FreeBSD 4.9-RELEASE-p8 - WHM X v3.1.0

what was the fix if they fixed it?

it would be nice to know so that we could do it manually for those that still have the problem.

just upgraded to the latest current (WHM 9.4.0 cPanel 9.4.1-C56) and not working.

maybe i will try edge. though the versions are very close. maybe i should look for a changelog first.
