My proftpd is complied without tls module:

    /usr/local/libexec/proftpd -l
    Compiled-in modules:
    mod_core.c
    mod_xfer.c
    mod_auth_unix.c
    mod_auth_file.c
    mod_auth.c
    mod_ls.c
    mod_log.c
    mod_site.c
    mod_auth_pam.c
    mod_ratio.c
    mod_readme.c
    mod_wrap.c

    Running /scripts/proftpd128 does not work:

    /scripts/proftpd128
    rpm: not found
    Cannot find package openssl096 ...
    Cannot find package openssl096b ...
    openssl is installed
    Cannot find package openssl-devel ...
    gcc is installed
    Cannot find package glibc-devel ...
    Cannot find package compat-db ...
    Cannot find package zlib-devel ...
Can't find distro version at /scripts/fileversion.pl line 19.

Question is how do I tell apache to rebuild proftpd with TLS support? I do not want to use ports because I might break CPanel install, anyone know how to properly achive this?

    Solution:

    Code:
    cd /usr/ports/ftp/proftpd
    pico Makefile

    Find:

    Code:
    MODULES?= mod_ratio:mod_readme:mod_wrap
    Replace:

    Code:
    MODULES?= mod_ratio:mod_readme:mod_wrap:mod_tls
Save and exit pico/vi, then type:

    Code:
    make deinstall
    And

    Code:
    make reinstall clean

    Restart proftpd via /scripts/restartsrv_proftpd :)
