FREEBSD or Redhat 8.0?

Hi !

I will be installing a new server and would like to know which OS should i use with cPanel. Also do tell me if your reasons are based on preference or facts and why. I need all the feedback I can get before I deploy this coming week!

The first thing to look at is what OS are you most comfortable with.

actually any Os will be ok .... i am used to diff types of unix-like platforms ...

my concern will be cpanel's integration into the system and future changes etc

I'd stick with RH 7.3.

I know a few people that are having minor problems with RH 8.0.

Just my $0.02.

i was thinking of running my new machine (this wekend) on redhat 8.0.
